Closing in on the big 9-0, Betty White is still as vital and as vibrant as ever, working as hard as ever on several different projects and causes. But what makes it all worth the while for Betty is having fans, young and old, who enjoy watching her be the woman she’s always been on and off-screen.
It’s no secret that Betty has a widespread gay following, something that she admits she is very proud of. But when asked why she thought the LGBT community has taken to her so whole-heartedly, Betty explained:
“Throughout my career, I├óΓé¼Γäóve always portrayed characters that were humorous, but also weren├óΓé¼Γäót afraid to speak their minds, especially when it came to racy or controversial topics. I think this struck a chord with the LGBT community. We both also share a very strong love for animals. When you combine the two, it├óΓé¼Γäós a very strong match. ”
Indeedy it is, Miz White!
God love her, we want nothing more than to see her make it into her hundreds, looking as radiant as she does today!
Everyone, gay or otherwise, loves you Betty! You’re forever our Golden Girl.
