Everyone would LOVE to learn to dance like Beyoncé, and now they can!
At Chelsea Studios in NYC, they have the cure for your case of The Mondays. People come pouring in for the $18-per-hour-long class to learn how to be just like Queen Bey!
But it wasn’t always that way. Instructor Mitchell Wayne explains:
“We tried teaching a few other artists’ more recent singles, but every time we’d promote a Beyoncé class, people seemed to line up from the doors to the elevators.”
Such a diva!
How the classes work is Wayne shows the classroom the routine they’ll learn, then teaches it step-by-step. At the end, the room splits in two, and the participants get to perform it!
But beginners be warned, these classes teach actual Beyoncé moves, and while she makes it look effortless, all of that twerking is tough stuff! In fact, the harder routines, like Blow and Partition are split up into different classes entirely!
This sounds like such a fab idea! Hopefully they start expanding it to other cities soon because New Yorkers aren’t the only ones who love them some Bey!
