UPDATE 1:07 PM EST: It has just been ordered that Bill WILL go to trial for this criminal case. He could face up to ten years in prison if he’s convicted.

Bill Cosby may finally face the music.
On Tuesday, Cosby arrived at court in Pennsylvania to begin a preliminary hearing which will decide whether or not there’s sufficient evidence to hold a trial over three counts of felony indecent assault against him. A former Temple University employee named Andrea Constand first filed a complaint against the actor in 2004.

The hearing comes on the heels of disturbing testimony disclosed in depositions Cosby gave back in 2005 and 2006.
In the horrifying transcripts obtained by the Associated Press, the comedian copped to having sex with teenagers in addition to drugging Andrea at his home. The father also went on to describe his sexual encounter with Ms. Constand, an act he described as “somewhere between permission and rejection”.
While we know that B.C. previously admitted to using quaaludes on women for the purpose of procuring sex, the new details are way more graphic and evil than we could have ever imagined.
In one particular segment of his depo, Bill basically defended his transgression against Andrea:

“Q: So, you’re not telling us that you verbally asked her for permission?
A: I didn’t say it verbally, I said. The action is my hand on her midriff, which is skin. I’m not lifting any clothing up. This is, I don’t remember fully what it is, but it’s there and I can feel. I got her skin and it’s just above the hand and it’s just above where you can go under the pants.
Q: Then what happens?
A: I don’t hear her say anything. And I don’t feel her say anything. And so I continue and I go into the area that is somewhere between permission and rejection. I am not stopped.”

The gross admission echoes a story the Cosby Show star recounted by another potential victim 19-year-old Therese Serignese:

… I meet Ms. Picking in Las Vegas. She meets me backstage. I give her Quaaludes. We then have sex. … I don’t hear her say anything .├óΓé¼ΓÇ░.├óΓé¼ΓÇ░. And so I continue and I go into the area that is somewhere between permission and rejection.”

Yuck.
Despite the 78-year-old clearly not asking for consent, he still felt it was okay to brand A.C. a liar:

“Q: When she sat here and cried (Constand, during her deposition), how did you feel?
A: I think Andrea is a liar and I know she’s a liar because I was there.”

Wow. Mr. Cosby is truly a piece of work to put it lightly.
As for court today, Ms. Constand is not present as the prosecution decided it would be better to have a member of law enforcement read her testimony from almost a decade ago. It’s a blow for the defense which had argued to have the 48-year-old at the hearing.
To make matters worse for the funny man’s team, a judge denied two motions to delay the case in addition to dismissing the charges all together. The defense team believes this indictment violates a monetary settlement Andrea agreed to back when the accusation first surfaced.
We’ll keep you updated as this case progresses.
