It’s time to give the rumor mill a rest, because Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson are officially an item!

The usually tight-lipped couple finally confirmed their relationship over the weekend, nearly a year after their PDA-filled sightings started making headlines.

The Paper Towns actress opted to let the world know she was taken and happy in the most 2019 way possible: on Instagram!

Okay ladies, that was seriously HOT!!!
The short clip is actually from Her Smell, the 2018 film in which both model/actresses starred in alongside The Handmaids’ Tale star Elisabeth Moss. But it really confirmed what many of us already knew — these two are very much in love and clearly have insane chemistry.
We mean, c’mon. You know there has to be a ton of passion between a couple that willingly drops $450 on a sex bench for their home. LOLz…
So, this begs the obvious question of why the lovers decided to make themselves IG official now, after all this time.
Well, E! News caught up with Delevingne on the red carpet at an event in New York where the 26-year-old spilled the tea about that super sexy post and why now was a better time than any to come clean. She said:
“I don’t know because it is Pride, it’s been 50 years since Stonewall happened and I don’t know. It’s been just about our one year anniversary so, why not?”
Wow. Has it really been almost a whole year since we first spotted the British babe kissing the thespian at London’s Heathrow Airport in August 2018? Time flies!
The last time we heard her address her relationship was when she took to social media and clapped back at trolls who rudely insinuated the ladies needed a “handsome religious man” to set them straight, ironically.
She previously said:
“You need to mind your own business. Stop making things up.”
And called out Benson as her “true love” while adding:
“You are f**king disgusting! If you have a problem with true love then come and say this s**t to my face instead pathetically hating through Instagram. I genuinely feel sorry for you both, you are clearly not happy with your lives and have far too much time on your hands. Maybe get a hobby that doesn’t involve being homophobic and hating others for being happy.”
We’re glad to see these two didn’t let the haters get them down.
The supermodel and actress bashfully admitted to the outlet that while the post does seem like a huge display of affection, to her, it’s just “a little something.”
Additionally, a source previously told E! of the pair’s dynamic:
“They are very sweet and loving together. They are always doing simple nice things for each other and it all comes very easy and naturally. They are committed to one another and very much in love.”
