Carrie Underwood‘s doing everything in her power to help her injured dog — unlike some of the other stars we know *cough* Justin Bieber *cough*.
Earlier this week, the Dirty Laundry singer took to Instagram and revealed her rat terrier, named Ace, suffered a herniated disc right around Christmas. Due to the injury sweet Ace became briefly paralyzed in his back end. How awful.

Thankfully, the country crooner has helped her pup get back some of his mobility as she’s had him undergo hydrotherapy. The 33-year-old couldn’t help but share one of Ace’s heartwarming sessions as she posted on IG:
Right before Christmas, my little Ace suffered a herniated disk. ├░┼╕╦£┬ó He was completely paralyzed in his back end for a couple of days and, with rest, soon got mobility back in his right side…his left side is slowly getting better but we have a long way to go…he’s taking his physical therapy like a champ! We’re not crying, YOU ARE! We can only imagine how thrilled Carrie must be that her beloved pooch is doing a lot better.
Ace isn’t the blonde stunner’s only dog, as Carrie and her husband Mike Fisher are also pet parents to a pup named Penny. Oh, and human parents to their son Isaiah.
Nonetheless, the American Idol alum certainly has a soft spot for Ace as she even posed with him once for the cover (below) of Redbook magazine.
