Who would’ve ever thought a Justin Timberlake and CHVRCHES collab would work?
One of our favorite three-piece, Scottish, synthpop groups stopped by the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge on Thursday to show the world how to properly cover a JT classic.
CHVRCHES put their haunting twist on Justin’s Cry Me a River, and it brought new emotion out of the Grammy-winning revenge song.

Although, while we enjoyed the rendition as a whole and have even more love for lead vocalist Lauren Mayberry… we can’t help but feel that the 27-year-old was just a tad flat every time she sang ‘cry’ during the chorus.
But hey, they’re so cool, it was probably intentional!
