Coldplay To Jam Up Next Week's American Idol

Coldplay will be playing a set on Americn Idol‘s resolute show next week!
Yeah, we know. This will actually get people to watch this season of Idol! JK!!
Srsly, though we nearly passed out when we read the show’s tweet:

“Breaking news! @Coldplay will be performing on #idol next Thursday, May 3rd!”

AND, as if Coldplay isn’t enough, we’ve heard whispers that Rihanna will be making a guest appearance for a duet with the group!
Waaah!!!
It IS a possibility! After all, the pop star had a duet with the Brits in their newest single Princess of China.
We don’t know what’s more exciting: next week’s episode or tonight’s with Katy Perry!
