Couric Doing Well

Finally, after two years of hosting the CBS Evening News, Katie Couric has managed to increase her ratings.
It’s about time!
She’s repeatedly placed third nationally in the evening news ratings, always behind ABC and NBC. But, here’s something to gloat about.
Reports now show that Couric has beaten NBC’s Nightly News in the New York market for at least the past six months.
Even in the last month alone, she’s increased her overall viewers by 22%. So what’s going on? Is she doing something new and different?
According to Couric, “It’s all due to the staff, the correspondents and producer Rick Kaplan. It takes a while for anything to click and for people to get used to me.”
She adds about first starting out that “I was naive to think we could try certain things. I didn’t realize how white-hot the spotlight would be.”
Ya think Katie can make the good ratings stay???
