If you’re thinking we mean that Danica Patrick was distracted by issues with her boyfriend which resulted in her crashing during the Coca-Cola 600… well, you’re wrong! He was LITERALLY the cause of her dangerous collision!
You see, her boyfriend is driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr.! During lap 319, he bumped into her No. 10 Chevy and straight sent her into the back of Brad Keselowski‘s car! She and Brad sustained significant damage and had to take their cars behind the wall for repairs!
Brad took the fall for her wreck, but we all know differently! Here’s what he said:
“I was three-wide with Danica and didn’t know it and I cut her off and wrecked her and myself. I feel bad for her and I send my apologies to her. It’s just a long night for the Miller Lite Ford. We’ll move on. That’s all you can do.”
Danica ended up finishing 29th overall — and we’re wondering if Ricky has to sleep on the couch for a while!
LOLz! Maybe going back to the Indy 500 wouldn’t be so bad, Danica!
