David Cook Records Contestant Kick-Off Song For Next Season Of American Idol

Curious to hear what losing will sound like on Season 10 of American Idol?
Season 7 winner David Cook has recorded the contestant “kick-off” song (above) which is an updated version of Simple Minds‘ 1985 hit Don’t You (Forget About Me).
Some may call it sacrilege, but we’re thinking many people will enjoy hearing Cook’s cover of the ’80s classic song as contestants are kicked off the show.
