David Cook Returns To Tour With Heavy Heart

Only a week after his dear brother’s death, David Cook got back to his tour this past weekend.

The clearly heartbroken singer took the stage in Akron, Ohio, and struggled through several of his performances, though he made no actual mention of the tragedy. During one of his songs, Cook stopped to address the audience by saying: “It’s gonna be tough for me. I’m sorry. Do you mind if I sing a different song?”

Reports also said that Cook walked off the stage entirely during his song Come Back to Me, but returned five minutes later.
