Diplo jokingly claims he was “put in a holding cell” during Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner‘s second wedding!
As we reported, over the weekend, the Jonas Brothers band member and the Game of Thrones actress tied the knot (again) in France at Château de Tourreau.

On Sunday on Instagram, the DJ — who famously livestreamed the couple’s first nuptials in Las Vegas — shared a pic of himself at the ceremony, and joked the two took away his cell phone during their French event.
He wrote:
“This is the only photo I got from Joe and Sophie Turner Jonas wedding because they took my phone from me and put in a holding cell during the ceremony . Heard it was lovely tho”
During an earlier appearance on the U.K.’s Capital Breakfast With Roman Kemp radio show, Joe joked Diplo “ruined” his Sin City ceremony by documenting the extravaganza on IG Live.
He exclaimed:
“Diplo did. Yeah, he ruined it. I love Diplo, but he loves his ‘gram more than a 13-year-old. He posts every five seconds. He literally, like, live-streamed with dog face filters.”
However, Jonas and Turner eventually forgave him, with Joe adding:
“We just laughed, we loved it. We thought it was ridiculous. And I just love that he was walking into the chapel and he’s like, ‘Going to hit this wedding real quick,’ [in his Instagram Story].”
Last month, during an interview with On Air with Ryan Seacrest, Diplo explained he filmed the Vegas ceremony because he didn’t think it was “serious,” elaborating:
“I didn’t know it was a serious wedding. I really didn’t know it was going on.”
The EDM artist added:
“There was a story that came out that [Joe] was like mad about me. He called me today to apologize… Guess I’m ruining it now because I was going to continue to have beef with him. Pay attention to me and Jonas’ beef because I’m coming for him.”
Good thing the “beef” is over!
Per an E! News source, Joe and Sophie got ready for their big day in France with A LOT of booze!
According to an insider:
“Sophie was drinking champagne with her girlfriends and brunch was also delivered. Joe had a few shots with his groomsmen to ease the nerves.”
Additionally, the location was adorned with “white elegant flowers and glass candles.”
After the ceremony, guests traveled to a different area of the castle for the reception.
