Diplo is ready to share everything — almost.
On Tuesday’s brand new episode of Emily Ratajkowski‘s High Low podcast, the superstar DJ, whose real name is Thomas Wesley Pentz, revealed some things he’d never talked about before — including lots of deets on his sexuality. While talking with the supermodel, he dished he’s “sure” he’s received oral sex from another man:
“I’m sure I’ve gotten a blow job from a guy before. … For sure. 100 [percent], yeah.”
Wow! The 44-year-old clarified he isn’t “aroused by men that much” — but he was definitely down enough to go through with a little hanky panky it sounds like!

When Emrata asked if he had a “specific” memory of getting frisky with a man, he played coy and responded he didn’t think the act itself was all that “gay”:
“I’ve gotten a lot of blow jobs, but I don’t know. I mean, getting a blow job is not that gay, I think.”
Um, what? If that’s “not that gay” we may have to rethink some things! LOLz! The 31-year-old host laughed and said:
“I don’t know. You tell me?”
The DJ said it wasn’t gay to him because he didn’t make eye contact with the other guy! Hmm… is that really how it works?? Eyes may be the window to the soul, but you can probably get in through the mouth if you try hard enough…
Emrata was the first to bring up the subject of sexual orientation, having been outspoken about her own in the past. She pressed early in the interview:
“We should talk about what you said to me last night, which is that you’re a little gay.”
Diplo seemed surprised she wanted to get straight to talking about how he’s probably not all that straight. The Gone Girl actress praised him for being “flexible”:
“You should be happy. … I could just be talking to you only about your relationships to women. I like that you’re a little flexible.”
However, the Close to Me hitmaker revealed he isn’t on board with putting a label on his sexuality — at least not for the time being:
“[I don’t] want to define that [I’m] gay. I think the best answer I have is I’m not not gay. There are a couple guys … I could date, life partner-wise.”
Despite only being in public relationships with women in the past, the Grammy winner went on to add he’s “more of a vibe guy … over gender.” He may not be ready to commit to a label, but he does think “the temperature of our culture has changed” when it comes to being “fluid” in sexuality:
“[When I was young], you had gay kids at school and gay cousins or whatever, but it was different than it is now. I thought it was, like, weird to be gay.”
This isn’t the first time the DJ has gotten candid about where he stands on romance and sexuality — in 2019 he responded to a tweet speculating his sexuality by saying “masculinity is a prison.” Three years earlier in 2016, he referred to himself as “only half gay.” Of course, no one knew if he was joking, queerbaiting, or what. If he’s getting head from guys, it’s definitely real — whatever it is.
