Gone-Too-Soon Anthony Scaramucci Snuck Out Of A White House Side Door After Being Fired

no title
The revolving door of Donald Trump‘s White House moves so quickly, sometimes we wish we had more time with these colorful characters before they were canned.
That said, it’s good to know The Mooch is still The Mooch!
In a new interview with Vanity Fair, the president’s former Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci recalled his exciting 10 days on the job — and his “high profile” (read: cowardly) White House exit.

After enjoying a week rubbing shoulders with D.C.’s elite, Scaramucci started suspecting his 15 minutes of POTUS’s support were up when the higher ups stopped fawning over him.
If he didn’t already see his firing coming after making headlines for an F-bomb filled rant rant to the New Yorker, The Mooch knew it was curtains days later, on July 31, because his White House-encrypted cell phone had been disconnected.
As fate would have it, Trump’s greasy mouthpiece was fired by Chief of Staff John Kelly before he even walked into his office. He remembered:

“Kelly’s first act is he calls me into his office and says, ├óΓé¼╦£I need to let you go.’ “

After the living SNL impression reacted to the “disappointing” news, Kelly insisted there was no way for him to recover from the profanity-laced interview.

So GTFO, he did — but not without one final dramatic request!
White House personnel told the former director he would have to be escorted out. Scaramucci was about to comply before requesting permission to make a discreet exit, because of his “high profile” status. He recalled saying:

“If you don’t mind, because I’m so high-profile at this point, I’d like to go out the East Wing exit, over by Treasury. Are you cool with that?'”

Cool they were. And so, Scaramucci slipped through the side door and out of our hearts forever.
Despite his new low profile status, The Mooch is still very much the man we fell in love with. In the interview, he called the political establishment “the fucking Sith Lord” and former chief strategist Steve Bannon a “swamp-like” “creature from the Black Lagoon.”
Keep being you, Mooch.
