LA-based dance group Groov3 descended upon the Glendale Galleria to show their support of JCPenney selecting Ellen DeGeneres as their new celebrity spokeswoman with a flash mob!
The group wrote on YouTube:
“In light of the recent controversy surrounding JCPenney choosing the openly gay Ellen DeGeneres as a spokesperson, the Los Angeles dance community, family, and friends gathered together to show their love and support by countering hate with dance by performing in front of a JCPenney store. With dance as one of the hallmarks of the Ellen DeGeneres show, what better way to “Show the LOVE, and Stop the Hate” than doing what Ellen loves most: DANCE!”
What a great message! We’re sure Ellen appreciates all the love!
