Former Miss Florida USA Sues Pageant -- Why Did They REALLY Strip Her Of Her Crown??

The former 2017 Miss Florida USA is fighting back after losing her title!
Genesis Davila is suing the Miss USA pageant after being stripped of her crown last month. According to court papers, the gorgeous gal is claiming the head of the contest, Grant Gravitt, took away her title because of his prejudice against Puerto Ricans!

The beauty queen alleges the pageant boss spread lies in order to get her dethroned.
According to the pageant’s official statement, the 23-year-old’s win was nullified after she “gained an unfair competitive advantage” for using her own hair and makeup artists.
However, Genesis is combating that story by saying Grant’s alleged picture proof was actually taken a week before the competition, and was cropped to keep the time stamp out of the shot in order to make it look like he was telling the truth.
Six days after Miz Davila earned her title, she was called to a meeting with pageant officials, and claimed she was told the meet-up was about proving her citizenship.

However, the brunette beauty says when she arrived she was forced to resign and tell the public it was because “her mother was sick in the hospital.”
Then, she alleged Miss USA blindsided her when they announced she had been stripped of her crown.
To make matters more complicated, Genesis also claims Grant wanted her out so he could drive the new winner towards his client/financial sponsor, Pageant Ready.
The former Miss Florida USA is asking for at least $15 million in damages.
