Devar Hurd, the man who stalked and harassed Ashanti and her mother with disgusting sexually explicit texts and messages, was found guilty this morning of stalking and aggravated harassment.
His sentencing won’t be until after the holidays, January 11th, but the man’s lawyer feels that a terrible injustice has gone down today. He still remains firm that what his client did wasn’t lewd – it was love! He told the press following the hearing:
“Sending pictures and texts is not crime. The intent was never to harass Tina or Ashanti. What he wanted was what we all want in life — love.”
Not the right way to go about getting it if you ask us.
