Halsey Reveals The HIGHlariously Bizarre Way She Fractured Her Ankle!

Halsey has gotten a little clumsy in quarantine!

During a virtual visit to Capital Breakfast on Tuesday, the Bad At Love crooner revealed the hilarious (albeit embarrassing) way she recently fractured her ankle!

Speaking with host Roman Kemp, Halsey detailed what went down that has caused her to rock a brace:

“I was loading the dishwasher and I pulled the door down to load the dishwasher. And the kitchen floor was wet and I tripped over the dishwasher door. And after, you know, 2,000 live shows, where I’m jumping around for two hours, I finally fractured my ankle. In the kitchen. At my house.”

OMG!!

Co-host Sonny Jay joked in response:

“That’s not very showbiz, is it?”

She previously gave fans some additional context about her injury via Twitter, sharing during a Q&A:

“I tripped over the open dishwasher door cause the kitchen floor was wet when I was loading the dishes and slammed my ankle bone into the metal and fractured it hahaha.”

In a follow-up tweet, she added:

“I REALLY slammed that f**ker haha”

It certainly sounds like it!!

She did take off her brace for a bikini selfie on Monday, however, which was shared to Instagram. Gotta do it for the ‘gram!! The 25-year-old wrote along with her pic (below):

“I took my brace off my ankle cause it was itchy and now I need to put it back. I made a quiche and fresh spinach butternut squash ravioli. Law is fun but hard. Beautiful sky. Can’t stop watching avatar. and judging from the baby pic I’ve been a disassociating little freak who romanticizes the 70s for my whole life. That’s all, thank you.”

Regardless of her relationship status with Evan Peters right now, we’re sure that first pic caught his attention!! As we previously shared, Halsey divulged in a chat with Radio Disney that she was quarantining alone, fueling potential split rumors:

“The day that I got home [from Europe] is when we all started staying inside. It was a little bit of a whirlwind at first because I went from traveling and being in a new country every day, a new city. … I was with tens of thousands of people every night to all of a sudden [being] in my house, all alone without all of the chaos and noise. Mostly, I’ve just been spending time with my dog and doing a lot of cooking.”
