There’s more news surfacing about that July crash in Hollywood involving drunk-driving actor Shia LaBeouf.
The two other people involved in the crash were just charged on Monday with providing police with false information about the accident.
According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office, they’ve filed one misdemeanor count for Herbert Simon, 22, and one for Kimberly Bent, 21.
Looks like Bent told police that she was driving, but investigators are suspecting it was Simon who was behind the wheel that night.
As for LaBeouf, it was announced last week that there wasn’t sufficient evidence to file a formal charge against him for drunk driving.
He may only lose his license for 9 months, because LaDouche refused the breathalyzer.
His attorney says LaBeouf was pleased not to be facing a criminal case and believed his client’s license would not be suspended.
Seems like Shia is getting off pretty easy!
As for Simon and Bent, no word yet on if they’ve managed to get an attorney.
Their arraignment date has also yet to be scheduled.
