So happy for Hoda Kotb!!!
We couldn’t be more thrilled for the Today co-anchor after she announced via phone on Tuesday morning’s episode that she has adopted a second child: a daughter named Hope Catherine Kotb! Awww!!

Kotb, 54, is now a mom for the second time — she previously adopted her now two-year-old daughter, Haley Joy.
The TV anchor (and Haley) seemed overwhelmed with happiness and love when they caught up with the rest of the TODAY show on-air journalists and hosts this morning, with Hoda breaking down into tears multiple times during their phone call out of pure joy and happiness!
Funny enough, even though news on this adoption only broke this morning, the star actually gave the biggest hint of ’em all yesterday, when she went on Instagram and posted this (below):
At the time, fans and followers just assumed it was another Monday pick-me-up, but now, commenters have been going back and realizing Kotb was actually sending her own little coded message in a way! Cute!
Along with having the mom of two on by phone this morning, TODAY shared some pics of the TV personality and her family (like the one at the top of this post), and also put together a couple of adorable video segments on the adoption and the new baby.
For one, ICYMI on live TV earlier, here’s the moment where Savannah Guthrie announced the adoption on live TV this morning, clearly surprising her co-hosts, who showered Hoda with love (below):

Kotb got candid with her co-workers, some of whom were visibly wiping their own tears of joy throughout the segment, when she revealed to them how big sis Haley is taking all this with the new baby in the house, too (below):

What an adorable, memorable moment for the show — and more importantly, what a wonderful addition to Hoda’s loving little family! So happy to see that mom, baby, and big sis all appear to be in GREAT spirits! We wouldn’t want it any other way!
