Hulk Hogan has won big in his lawsuit against Gawker Media… but that doesn’t mean he isn’t overwhelmed by it all.
In his first interview since winning his lengthy legal battle against the controversial website, the WWE athlete (born Terry Bollea) explained how he was overcome with emotion when the final verdict was read.

In case you forgot, Hogan was awarded with $140 million in compensatory and punitive damages after the 62-year-old sued Gawker for posting a video in 2012 that featured him having sex with his former best friend’s wife. Yikes!
While talking to ABC NewsLinzie Janis, he shared:

“[Gawker] was hoping that, financially, I wouldn’t be able to stay in the game with them, and I’d quit or tap out or something. I felt like I had this monster on my shoulders no matter where I went.”

Poor thing! The former wrestler even talked about breaking down in the courtroom saying:

“And as I tried to not snort again, just…water just came pouring out of my eyes. I just started shaking. I couldn’t hear anything except the judge going, ├óΓé¼╦£yes’ to that or ├óΓé¼╦£yes’ to this or ├óΓé¼╦£yes’ for damages. I don’t remember what they said. But it was just so overwhelming when I knew that we had won and people believed me. It was just — gosh, it was a moment. It was a moment.”

We can only imagine what the reality TV star has been through! The rest of Hulk’s sit down will air on Good Morning America today at 7 a.m. EST.
