Shady American Idol semi-finalist Joanna Pacitti has just been disqualified from the competition!
Finally!!
Fox released a statement late Wednesday explaining Pacitti’s disqualification as to “avoid the appearance of impropriety.”
The speculation about the legitimacy of Pacitti to be in the running for American Idol included rumors of the “aspiring” songstress being planted in the competition due to a close relationship with certain people close to Idol as well as a former record deal with A&R Records, where the faker had tracks featured on the Legally Blonde and Nancy Drew soundtracks.
Did the bigwigs over at Fox really think they could sneak this atrocity past Idol extremists???
Pacitti has been replaced in the semi-finals by the more deserving Felicia Barton, 26, who will go on to compete in the Top 36.
