The first part of the American Idol finale on Tuesday did poorly in the ratings. Very.
And Wednesday night’s results show did just as bad!
The season finale of AI last night brought in its lowest numbers ever for a finale show.
The two hour special brought in about 28 million viewers, reaching a peak of 34 million in the final half hour.
Guess people just tuned in for the results. That means many of them didn’t care to tune in and watch KISS, Rod Stewart, Cyndi Lauper or Steve Martin perform? Well, maybe they cared to watch Lauper.
This year’s finale was down 12% from last year’s.
2010’s finale will likely do even worse!
