Jennifer Lopez ain’t letting those cheating rumors rain on her engagement parade.
The 49-year-old songstress spoke out about Jose Canseco’s claims that her fiancé Alex Rodriguez has been unfaithful to her.

In an interview on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club on Wednesday, the Second Act star explained:
“It doesn’t matter. I know what the truth is. I know who he is, he knows who I am. We’re just happy. We’re not gonna let other people come out and tell us what our relationship is; I know what our relationship is.”
Her love don’t follow society’s rigid restrictions!
Clearly, J. Lo is unbothered by Canseco’s allegations that A-Rod cheated on her with the Oakland Athletics alum’s ex-wife, Jessica Canseco.
Just a day after the Jenny from the Block singer and former New York Yankees third baseman announced their engagement, the controversial 54-year-old star took to Twitter and wrote:
“He is cheating on her with my ex-wife Jessica poor girl she has no idea who he really is. I was there a few months back with her when he called her on her phone. Alex Rodriguez stop being a piece of s**t stop cheating on Jennifer Lopez.”
Jessica, who was married to Jose from 1996 to 1999 and accused him of domestic abuse in 1997, chimed in on the drama a week later, tweeting that her ex’s accusations about her and A-Rod’s infidelity “are not true.” She added:
“I have known Alex for many years and haven’t even seen him for over 5.”
Despite his ex’s denial, Canseco refused to back down and challenged J. Lo’s future hubby to a lie detector test. He insisted:
“Alex show me now how much of a man you really are face the truth face a polygraph. Alex since you are a man’s man why don’t you contact me and we’ll talk about it face-to-face you know how to reach me.”
It’s unclear if Rodriguez reached out to his accuser, but it appears he need not do so.

Based on Lopez’s interview, she seems to believe that the former athlete has been faithful to her — or at least has been following whatever guidelines the couple has set up in their relationship.
Maybe the two do have an arrangement where they can see other people: stranger things have happened in Hollyweird! At the end of the day, all that matters is that the couple are open and honest with each other.
Whatever they’ve been doing, it’s working so far!
