Yeah, we bet she’s gushing melancholy tears… because Steven Tyler stole her “I’m leaving AI” thunder!
Ha!! We kid, we kid. We’re sure they’re close or whatever.
While poor Jennifer Lopez seems so confuzzled about remaining on the American Idol judges panel, Steven Tyler recently made the surprising, definitive statement that he is kissing the reality show goodbye to return to his first musical love, Aerosmith.
And Jenny from the block is a sad, bodacious bunny.
The luscious latina shared following the announcement:
“I can’t even imagine anyone else there right now because I’ve just spent two years sitting next to him. I love Steven, and we became close during that time. We were a great support for each other, on an adventure that neither one of us knew what it was going to be. So it’s hard to hear that he won’t be doing it.”
So if Steven and Jenny are BOTH dunzos, and in light of last seasons dismal ratings, AND with the influx of MORE televised musical competitions, could this be the begining of the end for American Idol?
And honestly, any performance-based reality show that doesn’t boast Britney Spears and Demi Lovato as judgerinas should probably just cancel itself now…
