Ah, sounds like the days of J.Lo romcoms might soon return!
Though she most recently lent her voice to Ice Age: Continental Drift and played a part in What to Expect When You’re Expecting, it seems like Jennifer Lopez is looking to hopefully fully reignite her acting career!
The now former Idol judge revealed:
“I do miss doing films. I feel like the last two years with American Idol, I’ve really, really focused on, you know, my music. … It was all kind of very synergistic, it worked really well together. But (film) is something that I really loved, it’s how I kind of started in this business, and it doesn’t leave you. I am an actress, I need to do that, too.”
We mean, who can deny Jenny’s loveable roles in flicks like Maid In Manhattan, Monster In Law and The Wedding Planner?!
Not to mention her star-making role as Selena and her Fly Girl stint on the ’90s sitcom, In Living Color!
Although, don├óΓé¼Γäót get your hopes up TOO soon for Jennifer to head back to acting full-time — our Puerto Rican princess still has her music career as her main focus at the moment!
With a greatest hits album on the way, as well as her very FIRST world tour withEnrique Iglesias, Lopez definitely has a lot on her bedazzled plate!
After the tour wraps up in November, however, maybe she’ll have some free time to read a script or two!
Who knows — maybe even Matthew McConaughey can bring his Magic Mike Dallas role to a Wedding Planner prequel?! LOLz!
