J.Lo Getting $12 Million To Be Idol Judge

Although she was originally asking for a $15 million deal to be the next American Idol judge, Jennifer Lopez “settled” for the hefty sum of $12 million.
An insider said:

“She was angling for an overall deal at Fox, including a put picture, to keep her movie career going. But Fox said no. I think it was just positioning. In the end, she didn’t turn up her nose up at $12 million.”

Lopez is delaying the official announcement until late September to coincide with the release of her new single.
