Kacey Musgraves is young, wild, and braless for PAPER Magazine!
The Grammy winner caught the world’s attention over the past few years thanks to her progressive views on topics like sexuality and experimentation in her music. Now, she has our attention all over again with her stunning spread for the internet-breaking glossy.
The pics (below) show the 31-year-old (almost) freeing the nipple as she poses in a skin-colored top. Like all things Kacey, the pics are raw, intimate, and everything you didn’t expect from her!

In the interview, the star — who won Album of the Year for her album Golden Hour at the Grammys back in February — made it clear she doesn’t consider herself a full-fledged “country artist,” explaining:
“I’ve never been fully comfortable saying, ‘I am a country artist,’ because I can’t tell you that I am. I’m just an observer of life, I’m a songwriter.”
But just because she won’t label herself doesn’t mean the country art-… er, musician doesn’t know exactly who she is.
She continued:
“I’ve always had a really strong core [sense of] myself. I’ve always known really strongly what I do and don’t want. I don’t feel like I’m ever losing my sense of self. I’ve worked really hard to maintain that.”
Kacey’s efforts to stay connected to who she is — and to the world around her — are ongoing. She added:
“One of my greatest fears is the thought of losing touch with reality and with humanity. It just grosses me out to think that. And I’ve seen it around the industry before.”
Thankfully, the Texas native stays real by looking for honesty at all times from her loved ones; like her husband, musician Ruston Kelly, and her graphic designer sister, Kelly Christine Sutton. She added:
“If [my sister] doesn’t think something’s cool, she’ll just be like, ‘This is so dumb.’ You kind of need that.”
Looking ahead, the star has her hopes set on doing collaborations with other artists inside and outside of the country music world. She revealed:
“I’m down for so many collabs. Post Malone‘s from Texas and I think we would probably create something dope. I love what Billie Eilish is doing and what Lil Nas X is doing. I love Lana Del Rey. I would love to write with her. And I love Sufjan Stevens. I would love to create something with him.”
Um… yes to all of that, please!
