Being longtime supporters of the talented Kalie Shorr, it’s only right we premiere her music video for the pop remix of Awake! While you’re used to seeing her slaying country jams, this pop take is refreshing and only adds to her laundry list of talents!

Perhaps we’ve got another crossover Taylor Swift on our hands?! Though she describes herself as a mix of Haim and Shania Twain! That ain’t wrong, sister!
Kalie told us the remix came from a writing session in Los Angeles with producer Not Famous — and they found a way to inventively reimagine the song! It’s ear candy too, with the jam being one of the top three most requested bops on Radio Disney right now!
Former American Idol contestant Jonny Brenns (who was top 14 on the reboot) is featured, and you can watch the music video (above). You likey??
It’s totally full of dreamy brooding energy, while they frolic through airplanes and inside a hanger. Their voices flow so great together, as well.
Kalie will be playing Song Suffragettes’ 5th Anniversary Show on March 11 before diving in to record her first full length album! We can’t wait to see what this lady brings to the table on her first LP!
