Kate Gosselin was reportedly under investigation for alleged child abuse earlier this year.
As you know, the 41-year-old opened up about having to send her son Collin, who has special needs, to a treatment facility to “help him learn the skills he needs to be the best him he can be” back in August.
Life & Style is now claiming that a source has come forward saying the 12-year-old admitted to a staff member that he had suffered abuse at the hands of his mother:
“Collin said something to the facility’s staff and it was reported to Children and Youth Services [CYS], which started an official probe.”

The supposed insider continued:
“The police later notified Collin’s dad, Jon, that a child abuse investigation was opened.”
And that isn’t the only allegation against the Kate Plus 8 star.
A person claiming to be a former nanny for the famous family told the outlet that Kate often got “physical” with 16-year-old twins Mady and Cara:
“Kate would spank her kids, especially the twins. The spanking was open-handed and was to discipline them if they wouldn’t listen, but the kids would just cry more. They were scared. This would happen a few times a week.”
Ugh.
