On Tuesday, the singer decided to lighten the mood on this stressful election day by cracking jokes at Justin Guarini‘s expense.

The 34-year-old took to Twitter to throw it back to their American Idol days in an election-inspired post.
Miz Clarkson shared a shot of herself getting crowned as the reality competition’s original winner — beating out the now-38-year-old — that read:
“Make the right choice again, America. #Election2016”
However, the momma-of-two let us all know the clever quip was all in jest, captioning it:
