Not only has Caitlyn Jenner‘s Vanity Fair cover overshadowed Kimye’s pregnancy news, but it was also literally raining when the couple stepped out in NYC on Monday!
Anyway, rain is not your friend when half of your daily wardrobe consists of leather and suede.
(Weathermen aren’t your friend either, apparently.)
But a Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West probably have assistants spraying all their leather goods with those water-repellents to keep their outfits spot-free, anyway.

Still, the couple looked pretty perturbed to be pelted with drops of water, which is understandable since they were both wearing leather jackets, while Kimmy also had on suede ankle boots and was carrying a soft leather satchel!
And Kim’s boots were peep-toe, so she probably had water sliding INSIDE her shoes!
THE HORROR!!!
Gosh, we hope they were okay. Thank goodness for their umbrella lackeys, although Kim’s guy could’ve sacrificed himself so she was fully covered.
Do celebs ever carry their own umbrellas? We wonder.
