L.A. Reid recently dittoed Simon Cowell‘s sentiments on Whitney Houston‘s possible mentor status on X Factor.
As reported earlier, Simon had Whitney on his list of season two judges and Reid felt the same way.
Reid wants the show to have a Whitney segment as well. He describes her music as “generational” and “stands the test of time.”
But Simon says, not so fast!
The reality tv guru explained that it was too late to add a Whitney segment due to scheduling reasons. He also admitted that he had a hunch that The Voice and idol have their own tributes so X Factor would have to do something different.
Sad. Whitney would have been uhMAZing on the X Factor!
We wonder what the show has up their sleeve to remember her.
We know it’s going to FABulous, no matter what they do!
