Lewis Hamilton just got roasted on an open Twitter fire.
On Monday, social media users reamed the race car driver after he posted a video to his Instagram story condemning his nephew for dressing like a princess.

In the video, which has since been deleted, the 32-year-old looks into the camera and laments, “I’m so sad right now. Look at my nephew.” The camera then flips over to the young boy, laughing as his uncle’s rages on:
“Why are you wearing a princess dress? Is this what you got for Christmas? Why did you ask for a princess dress for Christmas? Boys don’t wear princess dresses.”
While Hamilton’s family may have been giggling in the background, Twitter was not.
Users blasted the four-time Formula One World Champion for his playtime provocation — with some going as far to say he was “bullying” a poor boy who just wanted to express himself. Others couldn’t help but point out that Hamilton shouldn’t be one to talk, given his own eccentric fashion choices.

Lewis Hamilton publicly bullying a child for simply expressing themselves (at Christmas no less), shows how ridiculously insecure and behind the times he is. This racing driver needs to get up to speed….

Oh @LewisHamilton you wally. It’s videos and attitudes like that that really don’t help. Even in jest. I am sure all the privileged straight cis males will make it all about gays overreacting. Sigh.

Cannot believe one of the worst dressed men of all time has the AUDACITY to open his damn mouth and comment on anyone’s clothing choice. Look at your own bloody clobber first @LewisHamilton, you mard arse Versace wally. pic.twitter.com/d11bQly1QB

Having once been a little boy who twirled around in dresses I can confirm that the best gift a parent or any relative can give is to not bat an eyelid.
Anything else will do damage stretching far beyond childhood. @LewisHamilton

Just watched the footage of @LewisHamilton having a go at his son for wearing a princess dress. “Why are you wearing a princess dress? Boys don’t wear princess dresses!” Made me feel sick. Attitudes like that need to be binned. Poor kid.

I hope @LewisHamilton properly thinks and apologises to his nephew for that video. Thinks about why it is so horrible, and considers donating to a charity which supports LGBT youth. That video is a video so many of us have experienced. Gross. It sticks with you

“Boys don’t wear princess dresses!”
No Lewis Hamilton, you’re right, boys don’t. Boys should be aiming to be Queen, not just a princess. Wear that crown and shine. ├░┼╕ΓÇÿΓÇÿ pic.twitter.com/lult1s1H0L
