We’ve been aware of Janelle Monae for a few years now. We always appreciated her, but there was something about her “shtick” that felt contrived and we were never that into the music.
We still feel that way, but… a good song is a good song.
We’re not thrilled about Tightrope, Monae‘s single off her latest album, but we LOVE love LOVE her new song Cold War.
It’s the jam! It’s the jelly AND the jam!
It’s perfect for our new gym mix and we can’t get enough of it!
