DON'T PANIC: Mad Cow Disease Case Found In CA!

Remember that huge Mad Cow Disease scare we all went through about six years ago?
Well, we hope it doesn’t happen again now that there has been a new confirmed case of the disease in a dairy cow in central California!
If you look at the statistics, it really isn’t anything to lose your mind over: this is only the 4th confirmed mad cow discovered in the U.S., and the first since 2006.
Not only that, but this cow did not enter the food system and everyone is safe! Officials believe it is a rare spontaneous case and not linked to contaminated food.
Apparently the safeguards in place really work!
So don’t panic… not just yet at least!
