Apparently, Margot Robbie always had a flair for the dramatics!
During an interview with BBC Radio 2 on Thursday, the 33-year-old actress recalled a memory from her childhood, where she once created this whole elaborate prank in her home to fake her own death! No joke! We are talking Margot pulled out the ketchup and a kitchen knife to make the whole thing believable! As for why she went to such extreme lengths? The Barbie star simply wanted to get revenge on a new babysitter she did not like! She shared with the outlet:
“We got a new babysitter. And I wanted my old babysitter back, Talia, who was like sixteen and I thought she was so cool. And then we got this much older lady in and I was just not happy about it.”

When the sitter asked her to take a bath at one point, Margot refused! The woman naturally became “very cranky” when the Suicide Squad alum wouldn’t cooperate. However, Margot didn’t appreciate the attitude and decided to get some payback:
“I thought, ‘I’m gonna show you.’ And so I got a big kitchen knife and the ketchup and I sprawled out naked on the tiles, covered myself in ketchup and put the kitchen knife and I waited for like 45 minutes for her to find me.”
Talk about the dedication to the role even as a child. Eventually, the woman discovered Margot’s “body” on the floor and was completely terrified! She ended up running out of the house screaming. OMG! The sitter must have been so traumatized at the time! But for Margot? She noted in the interview with a smile on her face:
“It was worth the wait.”
Jeez! That poor babysitter! Ryan Gosling – who was sitting beside Margot in the interview – quipped:
“You produced your own death.”
After agreeing with her co-star, she revealed that wasn’t the only time she frightened someone with her antics! Margot added:
“I also once practiced like a pratfall on the cinema stairs at the shopping center where I’m from. People started calling an ambulance so, I guess I was a bit of a dramatic child.”
