Uh-oh! Was somebody having a bad hair day?!
Whatever the case may have been, Mariah Carey said NO close-ups during her recent appearance at Russell Simmons‘ Art For Life benefit in East Hampton over the weekend!
According to sources at the event, the pop sensation – and newest American Idol judge – demanded that while she was on-stage, the big screens be TURNED OFF!
Insiders revealed that Mimi “wanted to avoid close-ups of her face,” and that the minute she walked off, the monitors were turned right back on!
Meanwhile, reps for the event counter:
“Mariah looked stunning.”
We guess even divas get pimples or blemishes sometimes!
Or perhaps she just wasn’t feeling it that day?
We’re not sure, because as you can see from a photo of her at the event (above)…she looks MORE than just a-okay to us!
Either way…at least she still agreed to take the stage!
