It’s true! It’s been confirmed that Mariah Carey is the new judge on American Idol!!
And, while we were busy jumping up and down and giving ourselves high-fives, that sneaky little lamb took to her Twitter account to speak out about her new gig.
She announced this to her Lambily:

“It’s gonna be so much fun working on @AmericanIdol. As a singer-songwriter, I’m excited to help find and nurture new talent. LYM! –MC”

And nurture, you shall, Mariah! You really can’t get a better mentor than THE Mariah Carey!
