Mark Burnett Can't Do Anything About Alleged Apprentice Footage Of Donald Trump Dropping The N-Word -- But He Won't Go After Who Does!

Over the weekend there was that whole Donald Trump leaked footage thing and despite there reportedly being footage from The Apprentice showing Trump dropping the N-word, producer Mark Burnett can’t do anything about releasing it!

As you may know, Emmy-winning TV producer Chris Nee previously took to Twitter to share his insider knowledge on the confidentiality agreements, saying there’s a $5 million penalty fee if the footage were to be leaked! Not to mention the footage is owned by MGM.
Of course, we understand how sticky the legal situation can be and we totally understand when MGM and Burnett released a joint statement saying:

“MGM owns Mark Burnett’s production company and The Apprentice is one of its properties. Various contractual and legal requirements also restrict MGM’s ability to release such material.”

The GOOD news is, it sounds like old Marky might look the other way if someone else releases the footage as the statement also clarified rumors of lawsuits, saying:

“The recent claims that Mark Burnett has threatened anyone with litigation if they were to leak such material are completely and unequivocally false. To be clear, as previously reported in the press, which Mark Burnett has confirmed, he has consistently supported Democratic campaigns.”

So you’re saying there’s a chance…
We’re thinking someone should just start a GoFundMe to raise money to leak the footage and pay for legal defense! LOLz!
