Meghan Markle Thinks Timing Of Move To US 'Fate' - And She’s Considering A Career In Politics!

We all thought Megxit was a huge surprise, but could it have been… destiny???

Apparently, that’s what Meghan Markle thinks! According to a source for DailyMail.com, Meg thinks her move back across the pond was written in the stars.

The outlet reported the Duchess has told friends:

“[Her] instinct to leave the United Kingdom and move to California all makes sense to her now, as she believes she was ‘destined’ to help fight systemic racism in the United States. … [She] feels that her ‘gnawing urgency to uproot from England’ was fate so she could be at the ‘forefront’ of the movement.”

Well damn!

We thought the urgency to leave the UK was because tabloids wouldn’t leave her alone, but who are we to argue with fate?

We have to admit the former actress is in a prime position to be a leader. She’s been using her platform to speak out against racism and other injustices for years — and now, that platform is bigger than ever. Though “destiny” may be a bit grandiose for some, it seems like the Suits alum is really taking her ability to affect change seriously.

A close pal told DailyMail.com:

“Meghan said her work as a leader is more important than ever right now and that she’s been speaking with Oprah and other community leaders on how she can be part of the solution.”

They continued:

“Meghan feels like her mission goes far beyond acting. She said she wants to use her voice for change and hasn’t ruled out a career in politics.”

First a princess, then a… mayor? Governor? Senator??? Or should we aim even higher — we could really use a new president right about now!

For now, the 38-year-old is doing whatever she can to speak up against injustice. And this is something about which hubby Prince Harry definitely has her back. Royal expert Katie Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight:

“The Black Lives Matter movement matters to Meghan and it matters to Harry. And I understand that this is going to be an area where we’re going to see the couple doing a lot more work and taking a lot more interest. They’ve been very busy with the COVID efforts, particularly how it’s impacting on their charities. And their focus is now, I’m told, shifting onto this movement — Black Lives Matter is something that really resonates with both of them.”

If it wasn’t already obvious, having a royal couple in the US seems like it could really shake things up!
