Michael J. Fox 'Stunned' To Learn About Robin Williams' Parkinson's Disease

Robin Williams & Michael J. Fox
Michael J. Fox is the latest celebrity to mourn over Robin Williamssuicide.
Not only were Michael and Robin friends, but the pair shared a commonality that Michael didn’t even know about until it was too late.
That bond, as we reported yesterday, was that both actors were suffering from Parkinson’s Disease.
Michael, who has been dealing with PD since the early 1990s, took to Twitter to address finding out about Robin’s previously-unpublicized diagnosis, saying:

How sad.
The ‘Fdn’, or foundation, that Michael is talking about is the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
The fact that Robin was already donating to the non-profit before even being diagnosed with the disease himself just shows how kindhearted the 63-old-actor truly was.
The two stars also each made TV comeback attempts this past year. Michael had the Michael J. Fox Show on NBC, while Robin starred on CBSThe Crazy Ones along side Sarah Michelle Gellar. However, both sitcoms were cancelled after their freshman seasons.
We wish Michael, as well as anyone else who knew and loved Robin, the best during this unimaginably difficult time.
