American Idol’s Michael Johns Is Remembered By His Relatives & Music Family In Their Official Statements

We still can’t believe he’s gone!
Former American Idol contestant Michael Johns suddenly passed away on Friday, and the people closest to him have released their statements.
First, his family had these heartfelt words to say:

“Our family is devastated by the passing of our beloved Michael, a wonderful husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. We appreciate the outpouring of love and support we have received from all corners of the globe. Please keep Michael in your thoughts and respect our need to grieve privately in this difficult time.”

And then a joint statement from American Idol, Fox, Freemantlemedia North America, and 19 Entertainment was released, saying:

“Michael Johns was an incredible talent and we are deeply saddened by the news of his passing. He was a part of our AMERICAN IDOL family and he will be truly missed. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.├óΓé¼ΓÇ╣├óΓé¼ΓÇ╣”

This is such a sad loss, and he was only 35 years old!
