Everyone make sure your man is in the cage and your cage is in the water — because Shark Week is almost upon us!
The annual Discovery programming block is turning 29 this year, but you’d think it was 12 with this latest stunt: Michael Phelps is racing a shark!
The Olympic gold medal swimmer is testing his aquatic speed against the ultimate swimming (and killing) machine in the form of a great white shark in the upcoming special entitled Phelps Vs. Shark: Great Gold Vs. Great White.

We have no idea how the Sunday, July 23 special will pull off the race, though we can probably guarantee Phelps won’t be racing for his life. Probably. According to the promo:
