Not so fast, Jennifer Lopez!
The American Idol head honchos aren’t going to let you go that easily!
While the singer recently told Ellen DeGeneres that she’s unsure if she’ll be returning for a third season of the reality competition, executive producer Nigel Lythgoe recently revealed that he is not too keen on the prospect of replacing her!
He explains:
“We want her back. I want her back. I know how much she loves doing the show and how much she cares for the kids. It’s a business. She has to weigh everything. I know she’s gotten lots of offers to do movies and other things.”
Well, that certainly may be true, but something is telling us that gurlfriend may just want to remind producers what an asset she has become to the show, so that they may throw a more Britney Spears for X Factor-esque salary offer her way!
Either way, we’re sure we’ll know whether or not she’ll be jumping shark sooner or later!
