One Direction Gets Certified Double Platinum!

It sure ain’t hard to tell that Brit boyband One Direction is skyrocketing their way to success!
As they are now touring America with their sold-out 2012 tour, they have yet another achievement to celebrate — their debut single, What Makes You Beautiful has been certified DOUBLE platinum!
The track recently hit 2 million in digital sales and sold over 131,000 copies in the US alone in its first week.
That’s definitely no small feat!
And get this — after WMYB debuted at #28 on the Billboard Hot 100, it became the highest debut for a British group…since the Spice Girls in ├óΓé¼╦£98!!
Who says pop music isn’t back?!
The guys are currently on tour for the summer with UK pop sensation, Olly Murs, who’s opening for them!
