Deep down inside, we always knew this was too good to be true. We just never wanted to accept it!
A sick and twisted Consumer Math teacher in Upstate, New York decided to have his students put Nabisco’s claims that Double Stuf Oreos contain twice as much filling to the test!
The results were devastating!
After crunching some numbers (and probably a few cookies), the group of Debbie Downers high schoolers found out that Double Stuf Oreos are only about 1.86 times larger than regular Oreos, meaning we’re missing out on about 7% of double stuffingness!!
But the horrible experiment didn’t stop there! Students also tested out Mega Stuf Oreos, which claim to contain three times as much filling. However, students found out that they’re only about 2.68 times bigger!
How can they lie to us like this?!
Nabisco is sticking to their guns and saying that this is one case where the numbers ARE lying, and that the class’s results simply aren’t true!
We’re really not sure what side to believe here, although we REALLY hope Nabisco wouldn’t play with our hearts tummies like this!
We guess we’ll just have to buy some Oreos and do a little bit of our own “testing!” LOLz!!
