No matter the reason for this terrible accident, it is just so sad.
But now we’re hearing Paul Walker was not involved in some dangerous drag racing when the tragic accident took place.
Despite reports that the area has been known for drag racing, we now hear that there is no evidence in this accident that the men were involved in anything like that.
A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department source has reportedly commented that Paul and Roger Rodas were traveling the speed limit, but likely lost control at the curve where the speed limit drops. Officials also allegedly added that no eye witnesses reported seeing a second vehicle.
We’re happy to hear that the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT accident wasn’t the result of something like drag racing, but we’re still incredibly sad over this horrible loss.
