You hunt endangered elephants…PETA is hunting you!
The animal rights organization has offered an $1,000 bounty (Say WHAAAAAT?!) to any info concerning the person or people who killed three critically endangered Sumatran elephants.
Seventeen elephants have died outside Tesso Nilo National Park near the palm oil plantations that surround them. Many believe the killings are in response to a stampede that destroyed some of the workers’ huts.
PETA Asia president Jason Baker says the following:

These cowardly killers need to be caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
If poisoned, these elephants endure a slow and agonizing death.

Sad…we hope they catch those who are responsible!
