This could be awkward…
Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande got together and started up this epic, whirlwind romance while the Saturday Night Live star was “on a break” from his now-ex-girlfriend, Cazzie David.
Davidson and David — Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm head honcho Larry David‘s daughter — had been dating for a long time when they went “on a break” in May — single, but not necessarily broken up for good.

And then… Ariana happened.
According to TMZ, Pete was technically single at the time he and Grande got together (that’s what a break is, y’all), but it definitely makes for some pretty awkward near-overlap between his new love and Cazzie!
Word has it Cazzie has actually taken the whole thing in stride, and she’s reportedly “not upset or dwelling on her ex’s quick rebound.”
So… that’s good!
